The Journal of Air Transport Management sets out to address, through high quality research articles and authoritative commentary,
the major policy and management issues facing the air transport industry today. It offers practitioners and academics an international
forum for analysis and discussion of these issues, linking research and practice and stimulating interaction between the two.
The
refereed papers in the journal cover all the major sectors of the industry: airlines, airports and the associated infrastructure such
as air traffic control.

in the areas of:
• air transport policy and regulation
• strategic issues
• operations
• management
• finance and economics
• air law
• environmental impact

• bilateralism or multilateralism
• the impact of airline concentration
•
integrating European air traffic control
• new concepts in airline marketing
• evaluating aircraft/airport investments
• airport pricing
• 'polluter pays' policies for air transport
