The journal is an international and interdisciplinary forum for research and debate in the rapidly developing - and converging - fields
of retailing and services studies. Published quarterly, it focuses particularly on consumer behaviour and on policy and managerial decisions,
encouraging contributions both from practitioners in the forefront of new developments in retailing and services, and from academics
across a wide range of relevant disciplines.
The Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services covers:
• the distribution
and selling of goods
• the retailing of professional services such as health and law
• the retailing of consumer services
such as transportation, tourism, leisure, and personal financial services.
For employers and course providers, it also addresses
issues of education and training.
In addition to the main refereed articles and detailed case studies, the journal features short
viewpoint pieces and state-of-the-art surveys, book and software reviews, and a calendar of events.
Index bound in last issue of
calendar year.
