and students. It enables anyone searching for scientific information to pinpoint the information they need - including peer-reviewed
articles, patent information, author home pages and university web sites - quickly and easily. Scirus offers both Basic and Advanced
search options - with the Advanced search, you can be more specific with what you are looking - (selecting a subject area or content

SciTopics (Scirus Topic Pages)
SciTopics ( http://www.scitopics.com) is a free expert-generated
knowledge-sharing service for the scientific community. Developed to serve as an information and collaboration service for researchers,
SciTopics offers authors a dynamic, quick, informal yet authoritative online publication platform and also serves as a channel to help
editors find suitable authors and reviewers for their journals.
Selected authors are invited to write summaries on specific scientific,
technical and medical topics for which they are considered to be experts. In addition, authors provide a list of references and relevant
links to other websites for more information. Automatically generated links to the most recent and most cited articles from Scopus
and links to relevant results on the Web and news results via Scirus are also
included on the SciTopics Page. Researchers can register to become members in order to participate in discussions on any given topic
and engage in active dialogue with their peers.
Scirus Topic Pages will be officially launched on January 15th 2009 under the new
