In this issue’s Editors’ View article, Professor Joseph Astrachan reflects on the process of launching a new journal, and we look at some innovations to help your authors submit high quality manuscripts, saving you and your reviewers time. Our previous issue on peer review prompted many of you to write to us to share your thoughts. Andrew Kirby has kindly compiled a "reprise" article summarizing the feedback and giving some further thoughts prompted by your reactions. We have also included two complete articles we received in response to the last issue, both of which look at the possibility of measuring individuals' contribution to peer review using a new bibliometric index. Dr. Pedro Cintas and Dr. Elena Paoletti share their views. Finally, we look at a project that looks towards what the future may hold in terms of the format and functionality of journal articles. We hope you enjoy this issue,
