Sixth Brain Research Conference - RNA-Binding Proteins in Neurological Disease
A two-day satellite event prior to the 2011 Society for Neuroscience Annual Meeting
10 - 11 November 2011, Washington, DC, USA
This two-day symposium brings together established leaders as well as up-and-coming scientists from the fields of RNA biology and neurodegeneration
to present their research and discuss the latest advances in RNA target identification, mechanistic functional studies, and novel animal
models of ALS and FTLD. All the featured speakers have contributed significantly to discovering the importance of RNA-binding proteins
in ALS, FTD and other neurological disease and are amongst the leading names in the field of neurodegeneration. Besides two keynote addresses,
there will be a further 8-10 featured presentations; a limited number of oral presentations by students and postdoctoral fellows will
be selected from the submitted abstracts and a few speaking slots may be reserved for late-breaking data.
