In addition to many varied internal training programmes for employees, Elsevier offers a special two year management training programmes for graduates.

The Elsevier Trainee Programme consists of placement in 5-6 interdisciplinary projects, each of 3-4 months duration. At least one of the projects will take place abroad. The programme helps trainees get acquainted with Elsevier's internal organization and processes.
