Reviews

"...this book includes a number of features that make it very useful. In each chapter, a highlighted area briefs readers on the important issues of each organism. This is very helpful for those needing a quick review. A page in the front of the book includes the microbial name changes that have occurred recently, something I have not seen in other similar books. Throughout the book are very good clinical pictures of the disease caused by microbial agents as well as pictures of the pathology and stained specimens.
This book is well organized and easy to use as a quick reference. I am impressed with the quality of the pictures and figures that describe the microorganisms.
This would be the book to recommend to those who need a quick refresher on infections."
