Description
International Congress Series 1166

"Dynamic Cells: Cell Biology of the 21st Century" is the proceedings from the 1st Hirosaki International Forum of Medical Science. In this volume, contributions from world renowned scientist include useful and valuable sources of modern knowledge of cell biology for the medical sciences.

Recent progress in modern medicine is primarily based on the clarification of the molecular mechanisms of cell dynamics, and genetic alteration and their regulations. The knowledge of molecular cell biology is essential for modern physicians and even for the co-medical staff.

Topics include the mechanism of cell movement and intracellular transport of materials, secretion, synthesis of proteins, and the reactions to the stimuli in the cell. Also discussed are targets of new discoveries in modern cell science such as nerve tissues, endocrine cells, intestinal secretory cells, photoreceptors, perception of hearing, bone cells, and pancreatic islets.

This book will hopefully inspire ongoing research and medical practice gained from the contributions of the most authoritative leaders in the field of medical cell biology.

Audience
Professionals in the field of Histology, Neuroscience, Endocrinology, Diabetes, Anatomy and Cell Biology
