Description
Lighting engineering has developed progressively in all industrialized countries. This development has been accompanied by a growing number

Japanese, and involving a more and more extensive and specific vocabulary.
This dictionary is intended to assist engineers, technicians,
translators, documentalists, students and scholars in analyzing and exploiting the huge amount of literature dealing with lighting engineering.
The following fields are covered: fundamentals of lighting engineering; generation of light; measurement of light, radiation and colour;

The vocabulary used in the dictionary is based upon specialized journals, scientific
monographs, papers, reference books, defining dictionaries, technical descriptions, pamphlets, guidelines and international recommendations
of recent years. Standardized terms are also included.
