Description
This issue of the Urologic Clinics of North America is dedicated to urologic aspects of pregnancy. This will be a valuable reference
for urologists and other clinicians who take care of urologic problems in women of childbearing age. Previous issues of Urologic Clinics
of North America have included individual articles about specific urologic problems in pregnancy, but the latest of these is from 2002,
and this is the first time that so many different papers, on various urologic aspects of pregnancy, are compiled together in a single
volume. The issue provides state-of-the-art information from experts in the field. The topics include: changes in the urinary tract
during pregnancy, evaluation and treatment of urinary stone disease, urinary tract infections and urologic cancers in pregnancy, evaluation
and treatment of fetal urologic anomalies, pregnancy in women with urinary diversions, use of pharmaceutical agents in pregnancy, urologic
radiology in pregnancy, interstitial cystitis in pregnancy and postpartum genitourinary changes.
