Amsterdam, 29 November 2005 – Today Elsevier Bibliographic Databases introduced the beta version of EMCare at Online Information 2005, London. EMCare is a new bibliographic database drawn from more than 2,700 international source titles and includes close to 2 million records from the nursing, allied health and biomedical literature.

An extensive list of synonyms serves as precision entry points. Unique fields enable searching for numeric indexing codes including, Molecular Sequence Numbers and Enzyme Commission Numbers. Trade and Device names are also indexed in EMCare.
