This journal provides a peer-reviewed forum for communication and debate for the community of reseachers interested in teaching for thinking and creativity. The journal particularly welcomes several types of research articles:

- studies of teaching and learning processes directly relevant to teaching thinking and fostering creativity;
- reports of research evaluating the efficacy of programmes, approaches, and innovations in teaching for thinking and - creativity;
- synthetic review articles, and
- critical theoretical and methodological studies.

Edited by Filip Dochy, University of Leuven, Belgium, Educational Research Review is an international journal aimed at researchers and various agencies interested in review studies in education and instruction at any level. The journal, to be published as an official journal of EARLI, will accept meta-analytic reviews, narrative reviews and best-evidence syntheses and will offer online submission.
