Elsevier is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Vedat Verter as the new Editor-in-Chief of Socio-Economic Planning Sciences (SEPS). Professor Verter’s appointment is effective January 1, 2011.
Vedat Verter is a Professor of Operations Management at Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University. He is also Associate Member of McGill’s School of Environment and Adjunct Professor at MIT-Zaragoza International logistics Program as well as at Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa.
The current Editor-in-Chief, Professor Barnett Parker, will remain in charge until the end of 2010. We are very grateful to Professor Parker for over twenty-three years of untiring and dedicated service.
