We are happy to announce that the RICH2007-NIMA Young Scientist Award was awarded during the RICH2007 conference to Federica Sozzi of the Universita' di Trieste for her relevant contributions to the exploitation of the COMPASS-RICH1 detector in both the first and the upgraded versions and for the clear and well focused talk given at RICH2007, in which she provided a comprehensive description of the complex work of detector characterization carried out by her.

Congratulations to Guillaume Lambert who has been awarded the 'NIMA Young Scientist Award in Free Electron Laser' at the Frontiers in FEL Physics and Related Topics Workshop held on Elba Island, Italy from September 8-14, 2007.

We are happy to announce the winners of the NIMA Young Scientist Award presented at the 11th Vienna Conference on Instrumentation in February 2007.

Nahee Park was awarded for substantial contributions to the CREAM balloon experiment and outstanding presentation of her work
