2011 Physics Nobel Prize
Elsevier congratulates the 2011 Physics Nobel Prize winners Saul Perlmutter, Brian P. Schmidt and Adam G. Riess! One half of the prize was awarded to Perlmutter and the other half jointly to Schmidt and Riess “for the discovery of the accelerating expansion of the universe through observations of distant supernovae”.
In recognition of the importance of their work we are pleased to make a selection of their articles freely available.
