Ito Prize
The Itô prize is awarded by the journal Stochastic Processes and their Applications to reward a paper recently published in the journal that we feel has significantly advanced the theory or applications of stochastic processes.
The 2009 Itô prize is awarded to Marc Wouts for the paper A coarse graining for the Fortuin-Kasteleyn measure in random media Stochastic Processes and their Applications, Vol. 118, Issue 11, November 2008, Pages 1929-1972
The prize will be presented to Marc Wouts during the 33rd Conference on Stochastic Processes and their Applications, Berlin, Germany, 27-31 July 2009.
