Introduced last August at the Sustainable Energy Technologies 2010 conference in Shanghai, Sustainable Cities and Society publishes its first quarterly issue in March.
Focusing on research and multi-disciplinary work aiming to reduce the environmental and societal impact of future cities, the journal covers topics including design, modelling, analytical tools, testing/experimental work, optimization, environmental assessment, new codes, regulations, policy, economics, monitoring, post occupancy evaluation and legislation related to sustainable cities. The journal will stimulate the exchange of ideas and knowledge transfer on the development of sustainable cities. Authors are invited to submit papers to http://ees.elsevier.com/scs/
