TETRAHEDRON PRIZE 2006 AWARDED TO PROFESSOR HISASHI YAMAMOTO

The Executive Board of Editors and the Publisher of Tetrahedron Publications are pleased to announce that the Tetrahedron Prize for Creativity in Organic Chemistry for 2006 has been awarded to Professor Hisashi Yamamoto of the University of Chicago.

Professor Yamamoto has been awarded the Tetrahedron Prize for his outstanding contributions ranging over a wide expanse of synthetic chemistry, especially in the area of synthetic methodology.

The Tetrahedron Prize was presented to Professor Yamamoto at the Fall 2007 ACS National Meeting in Boston.
