The quarterly service allows you to see which articles have been downloaded the most from the Tetrahedron publications.
The TOP25 Hottest Articles results reflect the number of downloads by ScienceDirect users in a particular three-month period. Due to the volume of data that needs to be processed to generate accurate results pages, the alert results are processed in one quarter for communicating in the following quarter. For example, the TOP25 Hottest Articles alert, sent in March 2005, was gathered from download data collected from October, November and December, 2004.
There is no selection on publication date so all articles available online have an equal chance of appearing in the TOP25. Please note that we only keep track of ScienceDirect online usage.
