The editors of ADDR invite the submission of theme issue topics for consideration of further development. Topics should belong to one of three categories, as follows:

• At the cutting-edge of science and technology, topic holds great promise in broadening the scientific foundation upon which future advanced drug delivery platforms will be built.

• Showcases the central importance of a multidisciplinary approach in advancing effective drug delivery strategies for the ultimate benefit of disease treatment.

• Documents an established area of research or advocating conceptual, technological, or methodological advances on the horizon that that challenges the limit of creativity in drug delivery
