Journal of Controlled Releasenow has a new look on the front cover of each issue
JCR will be publishing a selected figure on the front cover. This figure will be taken from the interesting research reported inside JCR. The article will be selected based on recommendations from the editors. A one-page summary will accompany the figure to describe the highlights of the research. This new feature is designed to recognize new, unique, and exciting research submitted to JCR.
Another new look JCR is that it has implementing is the format of the manuscripts submitted to the journal. JCR now uses a template for all new manuscript submissions. The template looks just like an article published in JCR, making the review easier and faster. The use of a template makes it easier to control the page length of the accepted manuscripts. The maximum length of the published article will be eight pages, and implementing the template approach will provide the authors with flexibility in organizing their articles. This approach will eliminate the current rules of limiting the total number of tables and figures to eight or less. There will be no limit on the total number of tables and figures, as long as the final number of published pages is eight or less. This template approach will help the journal maintain a consistent look for all papers, and it will also assist the authors in the completion of the submission process.
As the drug delivery field evolves, so does JCR. The editors and publishers are dedicated to the continuation of the success of the journal. The content of the published manuscripts has improved; now it is time to freshen up the appearance of the publication. As always, we look forward to hearing from you so that we can continue to improve the journal After all, JCR exists for you.
