New Editor-in-Chief at Neuropsychologia

We are very pleased to announce Dr Michael Rugg (UC Irvine) has agreed to become Editor-in-Chief of   Neuropsychologia, when Andrew Mayes’ term of office concludes at the end of June this year. Dr Rugg will also be one of the two Editors for the “Memory” section. We thank Andrew for the patience, time, effort and enthusiasm he put into the journal over the last fours years. During this period, submissions doubled and the journal moved from a two Editor-in-Chief system to the current one EiC + Board of Section Editors configuration. Coinciding with Dr Rugg’s appointment is an increased emphasis on the desire to be seen as an outlet for not only brain lesion studies, but also studies using other appropriate methodologies, such as functional neuroimaging, cognitive electrophysiology, and transcranial magnetic stimulation.   The aims and scope can be read in full here.
