Elsevier Honored as "The Most Influential Publisher of the Last 100 Years in BioMedicine and the Life Sciences"

Elsevier has been awarded the “The Most Influential Publisher of the Last 100 Years in BioMedicine and the Life Sciences at the 2009   Special Library Association’s (SLA) Centennial conference in Washington DC.  Twenty journals published by Elsevier, many on behalf of renowned societies, were also selected as the SLA’s Top 100 Journals in Biology and Medicine including   Animal Behaviour, Biochimica et Biophysica Acta, Cell, Current Biology,  Developmental Biology, Journal of Human Evolution, Journal of Molecular Biology, The American Journal of Human Genetics and Virology.
