Nominations for Associate Editors Award

The nominations for this award were made by the Section Editors of the journal. Each section editor was asked to nominate one to two Associate Editors for their outstanding work in 2008.

Editor: Eddy Zeng, Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, China
Dr. Zeng is currently conducting research to examine 1) inter-compartmental processes and fluxes of persistent organic pollutants (POPs); 2) bioaccumulation and foodweb transfer of POPs; and 3) the feasibility of using solid-phase microextraction-based technologies to measure freely dissolved concentrations of POPs in sediment porewater. He has authored more than 80 scientitifc papers in international peer-reviewed journals.
