Nominations for Associate Editors Award

The nominations for this award were made by the Section Editors of the journal. Each section editor was asked to nominate one to two Associate Editors for their outstanding work in 2008.
Section: Vadose Zone Hydrology & Groundwater Hydrology
Editor: Adrian D. Werner, Flinders University, South Australia
Dr Werner’s current research focuses mainly on coastal hydrogeology and surface water-groundwater interaction, and involves a variety of field, laboratory and computer modelling techniques. Dr Werner has been enlisted as a Chief Investigator within the Australian Government-funded National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training, through which he aspires to continue pursuing both theoretical research in groundwater hydrology and practical problem-solving of real-world water resources issues.
