How to comply

HHMI policy applies to research on which any HHMI scientist is an author - including HHMI investigators, group leaders and fellows at the Janelia Farm Research Campus, and other institute employees.

Authors can comply by publishing in any Elsevier journal. After acceptance, authors will identify themselves as funded by HHMI and Elsevier will coordinate and enable posting of the final manuscript to PMC after 6 months.   Prior to manuscripts being posted on PMC, PMC will request the lead author to confirm that the manuscript to be posted corresponds with the manuscript accepted for publication.

Individual scientists will not be charged for this service.
