ELSEVIER RECOGNIZES ECONOMICS NOBEL LAUREATES The 2007 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel was awarded to Leonid Hurwicz (USA, 1917), Eric S. Maskin (USA, 1950) and Roger B. Myerson (USA, 1951) "for having laid the foundations of mechanism design theory". Besides publishing much of their own work with Elsevier, Leonid Hurwicz has been an author of Elsevier's handbooks in economics series; Eric Maskin is Editor of Elsevier's Economics Letters and a member of the Editorial Board for Elsevier's Games and Economic Behavior; and Roger Myerson has been involved in the editorial boards of the Journal of Economic Theory and Games and Economic Behavior.
