Oxford, UK, 14 September 2009 – Elsevier, the leading publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, announced today the launch of a new web platform, Elsevier Mental Health. As well as containing essential information about Elsevier’s offerings in the field of mental health, individuals with subscriptions to ScienceDirect will be able to access full journal articles.

Dan Morgan, Executive Publisher for Psychology at Elsevier commented, “The need to provide mental health resources is becoming increasingly apparent as governments around the world are investing heavily in mental health service provisions, and encouraging many more evidence-based treatment methodologies to be available. The field continues to expand in importance. It is extremely timely for Elsevier to showcase its leading mental health publications and content in one place, from cognitive behavioral therapy to psychiatry and counseling."
