Elsevier Announces the Appointment of Mirit Eldor to Managing Director of Life Sciences Solutions

Elsevier S’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre, a global leader in information and analytics, announced today the appointment of Mirit Eldor as Managing Director, Life Sciences Solutions. Elsevier’s Life Sciences Solutions business serves pharmaceutical, biotech and life sciences companies around the world with trusted, data-led analytical insights that help research and development teams innovate effectively and efficiently using curated and validated scientific information.
Ms. Eldor takes on the leadership of the Life Sciences Solutions business after almost a decade at Elsevier. In her most recent role, she led Strategy for Elsevier globally and served on the Executive Leadership Team. Prior to this role, she was Senior Vice President of Strategy for the Health & Commercial segments, a role in which she worked closely with the Life Sciences business on strategy development and market execution.
On her new role, Ms. Eldor said, “It’s an honour to lead the Life Sciences Solutions business, which brings together data, analytics and advanced technologies in novel ways. I am excited to partner with our customers across the Life Sciences industry as they make new scientific discoveries, develop targeted medicines and ensure compliance and drug safety with validated scientific content and data optimised through advanced AI-enabled tools.”
Before joining Elsevier, Ms. Eldor worked for Thomson Reuters in various strategy roles across its business sectors, including legal, intellectual property (IP) solutions, and life sciences. Earlier in her career, she was a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company and an IP lawyer, specializing in IP licensing and protection. Ms. Eldor holds an MBA from Imperial College, London, and an LL.B. (Magna cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University.
In addition to her new role, Ms. Eldor will continue to serve as Secretary of Elsevier’s Inclusion and Diversity External Advisory Board.
