InferMed signs contract with HSCIC for Lot 2 of GPSoC framework
On November 5th 2014 InferMed signed a new contract with the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) to provide additional Arezzo Pathways services within the Lot 2 component of the GP Systems of Choice (GPSoC) Framework.
InferMed’s contract under Lot 2 of the framework will mean that local organisations, including general practices and CCGs, will be able to procure additional Arezzo Pathways functionality, complementary to that already available under Lot 1.
InferMed is now working with HSCIC to develop an entry for an online catalogue detailing the Arezzo Pathways offering. The Lot 2 catalogue will be published in December 2014 and will be accompanied by ‘how to buy’ guidance to support local organisations in ordering services.
Services will be funded by the local organisations and ordered through a Call Off Agreement. This will allow ordering parties to negotiate some of the contract terms relating to delivery of the Lot 2 services, such as service management and implementation provisions. A template Call Off Agreement and a generic version of the executed Lot 2 Framework Agreement are now available on the GPSoC website.
Duane Lawrence, CEO of InferMed, commented, “InferMed is delighted to extend the Arezzo Pathways offering to Lot 2 of the GPSoC framework. We look forward to working in partnership with the principal GP clinical IT system suppliers and to providing Arezzo Pathways to CCGs and GP practices through the GPSoC contracting process.”
