Your society can benefit from a range of options for authors wishing to publish their article open access. Most of our journals now offer authors the option to publish their articles open access, and we publish a number of full (Gold) open access journals. Articles published in these titles are peer reviewed and, upon publication, are immediately free to access after the payment of an article publishing charge. There are no subscription charges for these publications.
Elsevier has also established a number of agreements with funders to help support the implementation of their policies. These include funders such as Research Councils UK, the Wellcome Trust and the NIH. A full list is available from our website.
We also recognize that some authors wish to self-archive their accepted author manuscripts to their personal or institutional websites. Elsevier has a Green open access policy which explains how authors can do this.
