Dr. Wei Jiang is an associate professor of Environmental Chemistry at Shandong University, China. She received her Ph.D in environmental science from University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2011, M.S. in analytical chemistry from Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (Chinese Academy of Sciences) in 2005, and B.S. in Environmental Chemistry from Nanjing University in 2001.
Her research interests include nano-bio interfacial processes, effects of nanoparticles on the structure of cell membrane and amphiphilic biomolecules, application and preparation of model cell membranes, cytotoxicity of nanoparticles and atmospheric particulate matter, nanoparticle aggregation and transport, and the application of microscopic and spectroscopic techniques in environmental sciences.
