Dr Teng Zeng is an assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Syracuse University. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining Syracuse University, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University and Yale University. His current research focuses on the occurrence and fate of organic contaminants of emerging concern in natural aquatic ecosystems and engineered treatment systems. He is also interested in developing byproduct-free treatment methods to facilitate the decentralized production of drinking water and the beneficial reuse of wastewater.
