Dr Kazakis Nerantzis is currently a research and teaching assistant at the School of Geology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and at the School of Civil Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace. His research interests span a range of topics including hydrogeology, water resources management and protection, managed aquifer recharge, hydrological processes, isotope hydrology hydrogeophysics, floods and impacts of climate change in water resources. His teaching interests are focused on groundwater simulation codes, groundwater quality assessment and development of new methods for groundwater protection and management.
