Marianne Stuart is a research scientist at the British Geological Survey with almost 40 years working across a broad range of disciplines, with a strong focus on groundwater quality. These have been primarily in the fields of macronutrients, emerging contaminants, industrial chemicals, pesticides, pathogens and baseline quality. She has considerable experience in monitoring and contaminant risk assessment and provides consultancy to the UK water industry. Marianne has worked in Europe and in developing countries on projects related to agrochemical pollution, wastewater irrigation and solid waste disposal.
