Dr. Fang Wang is a Professor of Environmental Chemistry in the Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where she also serves as the Deputy Director of the Department of Soil Environmental Chemistry since 2013. She has been a Council member of the Soil Science Society of Jiangsu Province, China, and served on the committee board of the Soil Chemistry Division of the Soil Science Society of China and the committee board of the Soil Pollution and Remediation Division of the Soil Science Society of Jiangsu Province, China since 2016.
Dr. Wang was awarded the “Young Talent of Science and Technology” of Jiangsu Province of China; the “Distinguished Young Scholars” from Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province of China; the “Excellent Youth Talent” of the State Key Laboratory of Soil and Sustainable Agriculture of China; a membership of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association, Chinese Academy of Sciences; and a “Young Talent of Lu Jia-Xi” Award from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Professor Wang joined Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences after finishing her bachelor in Nanjing University of Sciences & Technology in China in 1999. She received Ph.D. degree from Chinese Academy of Sciences in China in 2007 and was promoted to full professor since 2014. She has worked in the German Research Center for Environmental Health and Munich Technical University for two years (2005-2006 and 2009-2010) and been a Visiting Professor in Michigan State University for one year (2015). Professor Wang is the (co)author of over 80 peer-reviewed international journal articles.
