In specific, published manuscripts (1) describe significant and novel findings; (2) advance knowledge in a diversity of scientific fields; and (3) promote an understanding of the holistic nature of science at large, emphasizing the common principles of research and practice in those fields. These fields include all aspect of:

  1. Medicine
  2. Dentistry
  3. Pharmaceutical sciences
  4. Veterinary medicine
  5. Agriculture
  6. Engineering
  7. Information technology

The JAR also welcomes submission of manuscripts from cross-disciplinary fields, including biophysics, bioengineering, chemical physics, and environmental science; however, no area is excluded from consideration. In addition to original articles, JAR publishes reviews, mini-reviews, case reports, letters to the Editor, and commentaries, thereby providing a forum for reports and discussions on cutting edge perspectives in science. The Journal is committed to publishing manuscripts via a rapid, impartial, and rigorous review process. All submitted papers are subjected to strict single blind peer review by its experienced international Advisory Board members, as well as by additional anonymous international and national reviewers.
Screening verifies that submitted manuscripts have not been published previously in any copyright form (print or electronic/online). Additional criteria for manuscript acceptance are: A) advancement of multidisciplinary scientific knowledge; B) provides an adequate and relevant literature review; C) utilizes scientifically solid and reproducible methodologies; D) derives appropriate and justifiable conclusions based upon the experimental data presented; and E) is succintly and clearly written in English.

All accepted manuscripts are granted free online open-access immediately upon publication, which permits its users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts, thus facilitating access to a broad readership. The JAR is published 6 times per year.
