As an open access journal with no subscription charges, a fee is payable by the author or research funder to cover the costs associated with publication. This ensures your article will be immediately and permanently free to access by everyone.As of 1 November 2019, the gold open access publication fee for this journal is USD 1000 for JPS members and USD 1200 for non-members, excluding taxes.

If you become a member of JPS before your author proof, your publication fee is charged as a JPS member.
