Journal of Medical Ultrasound

The Journal of Medical Ultrasound (JMU) is the official peer-reviewed, open access journal of the Asian Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine & Biology (AFSUMB) and the Chinese Taipei Society of Ultrasound in Medicine (CTSUM). It is published quarterly, in March, June, September and December, by Elsevier.

As the premier and only international publication outlet for medical ultrasound in Asia, the Journal is committed to seeking out and publishing innovative, cutting-edge work that is based on good science and careful investigation on a broad range of topics and issues that are of interest to clinical experts and ultrasound imaging researchers, practitioners, health professionals and residents. Improvements in basic ultrasound imaging and exciting developments in ultrasound technology are expected to take place in the field; JMU aims to be at the forefront of publishing these anticipated revolutionary advances in order to aid understanding, management and prevention of human disorders.

The Journal publishes reviews, original articles, case reports, brief communications, letters to the Editor, commentaries, pictorial essays and imaging for residents.
