Integrative Medicine Research

Integrative Medicine Research (IMR) is a quarterly, peer-reviewed, subsidized open access journal focused on scientific research in integrative medicine including traditional medicine, complementary and alternative medicine, as well as systems medicine. The journal aims to provide new and balanced research perspectives on integrative health for the whole person and to progress the convergence in medical and bioscience circles.

IMR publishes editorials, original research articles, reviews, case reports, hypotheses, commentaries, study protocols, short communications and letters to the editor relating to advances and scientific evidence of integrated platforms for traditional medicine, complementary and alternative medicine, and integrative medicine.

The scope of the journal is broad and its areas of interest include, but are not limited to: pattern identification or syndrome differentiation; systemic approach to traditional medicine; interdisciplinary approach to traditional medicine; diagnosis based on integrative medicine; medicinal herbs and other natural products; physical activity; computational analysis and modeling; and history, education, and policy in integrative medicine and its related fields.
