SNIP measures contextual citation impact by weighting citations based on the total number of citations in a subject field.
SJR is a prestige metric based on the idea that not all citations are the same. SJR uses a similar algorithm as the Google page rank; it provides a quantitative and a qualitative measure of the journal’s impact.
The Impact Factor measures the average number of citations received in a particular year by papers published in the journal during the two preceding years.

To calculate the five year Impact Factor, citations are counted in 2016 to the previous five years and divided by the source items published in the previous five years.

Description
Cytotherapy, official journal of the International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy (ISCT®), publishes novel and innovative results from high quality basic, translational and clinical studies in the fields of cell and gene therapy. Studies evaluating the potency of experimental cell and gene therapies in clinically relevant animal models of disease and describing important advances in cell/gene-based product manufacturing and validation are welcomed. Results of clinical studies evaluating the safety and efficacy of cell and gene therapies in early and late phase trials are also of interest. In addition to Short Reports and Full-Length Articles, the journal also accepts Editorials addressing emerging trends and potential controversies in the field, and Review articles summarizing bodies of work that have made lasting impacts in the field.
