Howard P. Forman, MD, MBA, is a Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at Yale School of Medicine, and is the Director of the Healthcare Management Program and Professor of Public Health at the Yale School of Public Health. He also holds appointments in the Department of Economics and at the Yale School of Management and teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in health care finance and health economics. Forman is the faculty founder and director of the MD/MBA program between Yale School of Medicine and Yale School of Management as well as the director of the School of Management's MBA for Executives Program. Previously, Forman was a Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Fellow, and worked with the US Senate on prescription drug benefit issues and other Medicare legislation. He is currently associate editor of the American Journal of Roentgenology and Treasurer of the American Roentgen Ray Society. Forman received his undergraduate degree from the City College of New York, his medical degree from SUNY at Stonybrook, and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
