Professor Zi Gao graduated from Department of Chemistry of Fudan University in 1953, and was promoted to full professor in the same department in 1984. Her main research interests are focused on zeolites and catalysis. She has been visiting scholar or professor at Beijing University, Imperial College, U. C. Berkeley, and University of Connecticut. She was the Vice Editor-in-Chief of Chemical Journal of Chinese Universities and Chinese Journal of Catalysis, and the Editor of Zeolites, Catalysis Communications and many other Chinese scientific journals. Professor Gao has won many important scientific awards, such as National Natural Science Award, National Invention Award and Shanghai Scientific Achievement Award. She is the author or co-author of more than 320 scientific publications, 30 patents and 16 books.
