Professor Xiaoming Zheng graduate in 1963 from University of Hangzhou. After graduation, entranced at Catalysis Institute of Hangzhou University. At 1987-1988 one year in University of Hokkaido as a guest professor. He joined ZhejiangUniversity in 1998. He was promoted to a full professor in 1990. He was the President of Hangzhou University from 1996~1998. His research interests are mainly focused on the C1-chemistry, the catalytic conversion of biomass and environment catalysis. He is the author or co-author of more than 300 peer-reviewed scientific publications and 15 patents. He has been the Editorial Director in Journal of Hangzhou University(science) since 1996-1998 and the Editorial Director in Journal of Hangzhou University(science) since1998-2010. Professor Xiaoming Zheng has won many important awards, such as the National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology (for two times).
