As an open access journal with no subscription charges, a fee is payable by the author or research funder to cover the costs associated with publication. This ensures your article will be immediately and permanently free to access by everyone. The gold open access publication fee for this journal is USD 1350, excluding taxes. For all articles submitted in 2019, a 50% discount off the APC will be applied. For all articles submitted in 2020, a 40% discount off the APC will be applied.If you or your institution cannot afford the APC, we will consider your request to waive the fee. We do this on a case-by-case basis, and we may be able to grant waivers in some instances. If you are from a country that is eligible for the Research4Life program, your application will be given priority. Please make any requests to waive the APC upon the submission of your paper to Array.
Funding Body AgreementsElsevier has established agreements with funding bodies, including Wellcome Trust and Research Councils UK. This ensures authors can comply with funding body open access policies and may also be reimbursed for their publication fees.
