This past week, our team reached milestones in making significant progress towards the creation of our project! We are very honoured to be able to collaborate and gain insightful feedback from mentors in technology. We cannot reiterate enough how humbled we are to represent the medical community in advocating for the place of technology within the education environment. To be able to be brought together as team from all around the world, is the icing on top!

This week, team Powercards focused on preparing for the Crash Test that is going to happen next week. We started with our weekly internal call on Monday where we discussed the updates we did for last week, as well as plan and distribute the tasks for the present week.

This week we had a training on Peer to Peer Research with Elsevier’s UX Director. The session gave us confirmation that all our prep and research work were done correctly, and we were immensely delighted by that.

This week has been very good on the technical front, we had a good meeting with the technical mentor Thomas. We finalized the architecture as well as moving with implementation and creation of data models and user stories.

During the past week, Team Patient X was faced with quite a large challenge. After in-depth discussions with both our developers, they were very sorry to pull out of the incubation program as they found it extremely hard to balance the time invested into this programme with their day-time job.

The highlight of our week was our Ideation meeting with the experienced Elsevier mentors Tim and David. We were able to discuss ideas of how to increase initial user engagement and what platforms would be most suitable to use for the initial launch.

This week has been a bit slow across the board for team Foresight but one exciting thing we got to do was have a meeting with our Elsevier mentors Tim and David to discuss how we can begin to expand the business side of the project while also holding the end-user as a high priority.
