Join newly qualified nurses; Chelsea and Elisha and Emma a final year student for this hugely practical session aimed at first year students about to move into 2nd year. Learn how to set goals for the following year, identify what is expected of you and, what isn’t. What to do when things don’t go quite as planned and how to manage mistakes and challenging situations. This is one that you should drop everything for!

Chelsea will be a newly registered mental health nurse working in the community from September. She was a twitter curator for @WeStudentNurse, a student editor at the Nursing Times and has created content for Elsevier in the past. She is passionate about sharing her own experiences to help others.

Emma is in her 3rd year, studying Children and Young People’s Nursing. She is also the deputy lead for @CYPStNN - Children and Young Peoples Student Nurse Network. Emma is passionate about emergency nursing, family centered care and peer support.

Elisha is a newly registered nurse, she qualified in March 2021. She is an Adult Nurse primarily specialising in Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplant.  She is passionate about, leadership, development and student experience.
