Role of Water Technology Innovation


Tove Larsen, Eawag, Switzerland

Tove Larsen is a chemical engineer with a PhD in process engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, DTU. She works at Eawag, the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology, where she led the cross-cutting project Novaquatis on urine source separation from 2000-2006. This large project obtained the swiss-academies award for transdisciplinary research in 2008. Tove is a member of the Eawag directorate and a group leader in the Department of Urban Water Management. Recently, she led the Eawag/EOOS project ‘Blue Diversion’, which was awarded several prices, including two IWA Project Innovation Awards. In 2017, Tove became an adjunct professor at Denmark’s Technical University, DTU.
