Dr. Sara González-García. She attained her doctoral degree in 2009 and is lecturer and post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Santiago de Compostela. She has participated in 30 projects at European, Regional and National levels, all of them in the field of the assessment of environmental impacts by means of the Life Cycle Assessment methodology. All this research activity has given rise to 72 research papers in international peer-review journals included in the SCI (h index of 20), 4 book chapters, 3 research papers in Spanish and Italian journals and 68 congress presentations (31 oral). She has made research stays in the Forestry Research Institute of Sweden (4 months, 2007), the Department of Industrial Ecology at Leiden University (4 months, 2008) and the School of Engineering - Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Chile (10 days, 2012). She hold positions as postdoctoral researcher for 3 months at the European Forest Institute (2009, Finland), 1.5 years at the Department of Life Sciences in the Imperial College of London (2010-2011, United Kingdom) and 1.5 years at the Department of Environment and Planning in the University of Aveiro (2012-2014, Portugal).
