Anton Paar GmbH was established in 1922 as a one-man locksmith’s workshop. Today, over 2000 employees worldwide develop, produce and distribute high-quality measuring instruments for the determination of various properties such as density, temperature and viscosity, for materials characterization and surface analysis.
Anton Paar offers a range of surface analytical tools, among them the SurPASS 3 Electrokinetic Analyzer for investigation of surface charge and chemistry.
Anton Paar has strong links with universities and research laboratories worldwide. The company is owned by the charitable Santner Foundation, which is exclusively and directly dedicated to charitable and beneficent causes.
In January 2010 Convergence was founded as a spin-off company from Twente University (NL). Ever since, Convergence specialized in the design and manufacturing of a wide range customized liquid and gas handling systems for laboratory and industry purposes.

Fundación Centro Canario del Agua (FCCA)
FCCA is an independent foundation established in 1998 by key members of the water sector in the Canaries. It was established to conduct and promote research and development of water treatment processes and equipment. FCCA has concentrated on desalination and specifically in the area of post-treatment. Plants which use equipment developed by us surpass 1 million cubic meter a day. With over 400 desalination plants operating in the archipelago most piloting studies are carried out in partnership with private or public plants.
FCCA presents its latest findings and developments in a quarterly newsletter in English called “El Manantial”.
